Used 2020 Ford Mustang BULLITT Premium Fastback

The Mustang never left. Camaros and Challengers have taken breaks. This one did not. On our Auburn lot right now: a 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt in Shadow Black, 6-speed manual, 67,650 miles.

This is the third-time-around Bullitt. Limited build. It nods at Steve McQueen’s Highland Green ’68 without dressing the car up in wings and extra chrome. The grille stays quiet. No rear spoiler. Mag-style wheels. Bullitt badging. Quad-tip active exhaust. If you know, you know.

Underneath the clean look, this is not a stripe package. Window-sticker equipment includes the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8, 6-speed manual, 87mm throttle body, active-valve performance exhaust, limited-slip rear axle, independent rear suspension, selectable drive modes, Track Apps, and Brembo calipers. In the walkaround we called out the Performance Package 1 pieces that come with this car: six-piston Brembos, larger anti-roll bars, stiffer springs, chassis reinforcement, the Bullitt strut-tower brace, and the open intake. That combination is why a Bullitt feels like a GT that went to class.

Cabin is Ebony leather with the green stitch — not the Recaros. Heated and cooled front seats, heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate, 12-inch digital cluster, and the Bullitt IP badge with this car’s chassis number: L3596. Same number is on the shift knob. Memory driver seat, ambient lighting, those two 1960s-style dashes humps over the gauges.

This one has the Bullitt Electronics Package from the window sticker: BLIS with cross-traffic alert, B&O 12-speaker audio, and voice-activated SYNC 3 navigation on the 8-inch screen. Rearview camera and 911 Assist are on the car.

We took it in on trade. Previous owner was a Mustang person. Resistall on the paint when it was new. Original folder still has the authenticity certificate and a stack of service records (Lakewood Ford). It left the store with 22 miles on the clock. We will not put loan paperwork or names on the internet.
